Upgrading or Downgrading Services and Options
| There are two groups of upgrades/downgrades that can be accomplished through the Customer Portal (available from the Hens Teeth Network website, left nav). Log in to see your account. Look at what is available to you under the main link "My Services".
When you press that link, you see a screen that lists the hosting plan you have and certain other services you may have purchased from HTN (such as webinar classes, Profits Plus modules, etc.). We are concerned today with the hosting plans.
You will notice a small icon with a green arrow at the far right side of the line that lists your hosting plan. Press that icon.
You are now on a screen that gives you details about your hosting plan, including how often it is billed and the payment method used. It will also give you login details for the server and even has a "control panel" button that will log you into your Plesk control panel.
Scroll down further and you will find some or all of these buttons. Exactly which ones are available to you depend on what your service is.
Upgrade/downgrade package This option lets you make your hosting plan larger or smaller. Some plans have no growth options. When you press the upgrade/downgrade button and make your selection, the change happens automatically for HTN Cloud accounts. The billing will automatically do the right thing so that you pay for the larger capacity only for the days you use it. The billing will charge you for the difference between your current plan and the new one when you upgrade. When you downgrade, it will automatically re-figure the amount due for the current billing cycle and issue a credit to your account.
Upgrade/downgrade options This option lets you select options available with your hosting plan, such as Nest Egg Backup or the Plesk Power Pack, Postini mail filtering blocks of 20 users, a larger number of domains, and another IP address. What options you see (and whether you see the button at all) depends on the type of hosting plan or other service you have. The change you select is queued for HTN staff attention.
Request cancellation This option is always available for any ongoing service. You have the option of indicating the cancellation is immediate or at the end of the current billing cycle. Pressing this button will queue the request for HTN staff attention.
