Email bouncing with dsn=5.7.1, status=bounced (Message can't be delivered)

If email sent to a user on your Cirrus, Stratus or Commerce hosting account is bouncing with error code 5.7.1 and a message "bounced (Message can't be delivered)", it means that the mailbox has exceeded its quota. There are two places that the quota can be set and may need to be increased.

The domain mailbox quota limit sets the maximum quota that any individual mailbox can have. You can adjust this in the control panel by navigating to your domain page and clicking on the "Resource Usage" icon in the Statistics section. Scroll down to the "Mailbox quota" line and either increase the value or select the "Unlimited" checkbox.

Individual mailboxes can have quotas up to, but not exceeding, the domain mailbox quota limit. Navigate to the affected mail account and click the "Mailbox" icon. You can change the "Mailbox quota" on this page.
