The optional Parallels® Plesk Power Pack makes Cirrus Cloud Hosting and E-Commerce Hosting accounts easier to use and even more feature-full. Without any special Linux knowledge, you gain the use of over 200 applications on your web site, additional programming languages, and an additional database management system. You also gain a help desk, integrated into the same control panel that your own customers or employees are using to manage their web sites and email.

Adding the Parallels Plesk Power Pack to your server gives you

• An application catalog of over 200 programs for use on your web site. All can be installed and configured with the click of your mouse and a few moments filling in a simple form. Note that as of Plesk Panel version 10.4, the application catalog is included free with the basic control panel license. (Click on the image at the right to see a typical example.) The Parallels Plesk Power Pack takes care of all the technical details of installing the application, editing configuration files, and creating databases. When you uninstall an application, the Parallels Plesk Power Pack neatly cleans everything up, assuring that no disk space is wasted and your site is not left vulnerable to unpatched, abandoned software. You can, for instance, install complex programs such as WordPress or Magento or SugarCRM in just a minute or two with no technical know-how (see the image at the right).
